Below are two picture book story ideas; Happy Birthday Henry, and Twelve Moons.
Happy Birthday Henry was inspired by an overheard conversation between my neighbour and his little grandson. They were discussing what to do on their shared birthday.
Twelve Moons was inspired by the Farmer's Almanac's names of each month's full moon. Using each months full moon name as a pictorial backdrop TWELVE MOONS follows three young animals through their first year, from infancy to maturity, as they grow under the watchful and loving eye of the Moon. At the back of the book would be a list of all the names given to the monthly full moon by the various cultures around the world.
